

Service: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville. Interment: at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 11 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Advance Hospice Care of America.
Conrad was born in Florien, La., on June 21, 1934, to Jessie James and Annie Mae Hopkins Corley. After attending high school in Florien, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951. Conrad married his high school sweetheart, Lunell Davis Corley, on Aug. 6, 1955. They were blessed with two children, Cindy and Paul.
Upon retiring from the Air Force Fire Department in 1975, he joined the U.S. Civil Service Fire Department until his final retirement in 2000. His military career took him around the world, from the U.S. to England, Germany, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. Conrad and Lou loved every new assignment throughout his career. Life then led him to another fun and enjoyable job, working for the Texas Rangers as an usher. He came to know everyone who sat in his section at each ballgame.
Conrad was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Cody Quinton Corley and James K. Corley.
Survivors: His legacy of love and care are left to his wife of 59 years, Lou Davis Corley; his son, Paul Davis Corley and wife, Denise, and their children, Chase Corley and Chad Corley; his daughter, Cindy Weier and husband, Mark, and their children, Jason Chisum, Brooke Ackley and husband, Freeland, Bethany George and husband, Chris, Allison Harrell and husband, Steven, and Kristen; his sister-in-law, Bonnie Williams Corley; and sister-in-law, Sandra Corley Dilbeck. In addition to his grandchildren, he also has eight great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
