Mrs. Leticia O. Sanchez

July 14, 1938 to October 21, 2023

Leticia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Faith and Family were the main focus of her life’s journey. In her early years of motherhood she was always involved in her children’s activities in school including PTA, school programs, baseball, band, cheerleading and football. She also made sure we attended church each week and instilled in us how important having faith is.

As life went on and her children became adults and married, her life’s joy was being a grandmother. Caring for them, cooking for them, playing with them, attending their activities and even teaching some of them how to read and write in Spanish.

She was a social person and was always making friends everywhere she went. She loved everyone at Remarkable Healthcare where she resided during her last few years. Even though communicating was difficult for her at times, you got a smile and thank you in appreciation. She never met a stranger and encouraged everyone to be a better person.

Leticia is preceded in death by both parents, by husband, Enrique Sanchez Sr., and granddaughter, Renae Sanchez Maldonado.

Son, Enrique Sanchez Jr, wife Isabel of Fort Worth

Daughter, Esperanza Rodriguez, husband Abraham of Keller

Daughter, Rosario Castillo, husband Aurelio of Haslet

Son, Samuel Sanchez Sr. of Lavon

19 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren

Numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Leticia will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034, with the rosary beginning at 5 P.M.

Her funeral will be held at St. John's the Apostle Parish at 1 P.M. at 7341 Glenview Drive North Richland Hills, TX 76180. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m.
