Ms. Linda Conway

Linda Lee Conway, passed away on December 14th 2019 in Bedford Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend to all who knew and loved her. She was born November 10th, 1940 in Waco, Texas to Edwin and Leta Elizabeth Majors. Linda graduated from Tyler high school in 1958. She married Tom Conway in 1960 and put herself through cosmetology school to support Tom while he attended Mississippi State university. They relocated to the Dallas, Fort Worth metroplex in 1968 and eventually landed in Bedford where they lived for the past 45 years. Tom and Linda would have celebrated their 60th anniversary January 2020.

Linda spent many years participating in craft shows before she opened Apple Annie’s Home Décor and Gift Shop in Hurst Texas in 1991. Her store has grown and become a very successful small business with many loyal patrons over the years. She always looked forward to going to Market to buy the merchandise for the store to “set the trend” for the upcoming seasons. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed many social groups including the “Twins Club” and PTA. Linda was known to all as kind and generous. She was a devoted wife and always placed her family first.

Linda is survived by her son Chad Conway of North Richland Hills, daughter Leslie Conway of North Fort Worth and son Kelly Conway of Bedford, her grandchildren Cole and Dylan DeGuzman, Riley Conway and TJ Conway, her brother and siter in-law Johnny and Rita majors, and numerous nieces and nephews. she is preceded in death by her parents Edwin majors and Elizabeth majors and her husband Tom Conway.

The Visitation will be held at between 6:00 and 8:00 PM on December 19th at bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. The funeral service will be held December 20th at 10:00 o'clock AM at the Bluebonnet Hills Chapel. The internment will follow at the Bluebonnet Hills mausoleum.
