Our Dad was a giant of a man, all 5 feet 4 inches of him. He had a huge heart as he was always there for me and loved Ceci so much that he adopted her and gave me a wonderful sister. For as long as anyone can attest, he never had anything negative to say about anyone. He always saw the good in people.
While growing up and learning to drive as a teenager, we became well known by the Provo Police Department as he got pulled over quite often. Due to his small stature the police thought he was not old enough to drive!
Through his career, he was employed at Rockwell, worked on the Apollo program and later retired from Delta Airlines. During his years in the Apollo program, he acquired the nickname “Mouse” because of the small spaces he was able to fit into. He enjoyed being around his co-workers as he considered them his second family.
Mom and Dad have been together for 35 wonderful years. They have enjoyed spending their lives together. One of the many special moments they shared together was taking walks around the lake and watching Buffy chase the ducks.
For those who know about Buffy, he and Dad were inseparable. They always went on their afternoon walks and took their naps together.
Our fondest memories of our Dad are when he would take us on family trips that enlightened us and opened our eyes to the world.
Not only was Dad a very loving husband, he was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and a great friend to many. He will always be remembered having that beautiful smile and giving the strongest hugs.
We all will miss you forever. You are now our angel in heaven.
