A native Texan, Marguerite was born in Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1946. After which, Marguerite attended North Texas State College in Denton, Texas.
She married Lloyd Earl Dickson in 1950. The Dicksons moved from Dallas to Fort Worth where Lloyd worked for Convair & General Dynamics at Air Force Plant #4 for 36 years, retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Dickson was a homemaker for many years, which included raising 2 children, caring for her parents, Cub Scout Den mother and an active member of the St. Philip Presbyterian Church choir.
When the kids were grown, Marguerite went to work for the J.C. Penney’s at Northeast Mall as their telephone operator for 20+ years.
She was also a dedicated tourist, traveling to many places including: Alaska, Canada, Grenada, Bermuda, Hawaii, England, Scotland, France, Australia, New Zealand and more.
Mrs. Dickson was preceded in the death by her husband of 36 years, Lloyd; and her daughter, Susan Dickson Rogers.
She is survived by her son Richard Dickson (Claudia) of Haltom City and their daughters: Amanda Dickson & Rebecca Dickson Giroux (Anthony Giroux) and great grandson Alan Giroux. Grandson, Dean Roberson Jr and his children Marissa Roberson, and Elena Roberson. Granddaughter Kendra Bisbee (Tony Hester) and their children Jayla, Joshua, and Jrue Hester.
