

Marjorie “Jean” Pearson passed away Thursday, September 2nd 2021 at home in Fort Worth, TX surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Gigi, Aunt, friend and colleague to all that knew her. She was born on June 26th 1937 in Stockton, KS to Horace and Margret Brown.
Jean worked many jobs throughout her life. She retired from Texas Instruments at 62. She then volunteered and eventually hired on to work for Graceful Buys in Grapevine. She loved that job and getting to helping others in need. Jean lived in several areas growing up throughout Texas, Kansas, and Wyoming. She had quite the adventurous life and had some hardships along the way She enjoyed fishing, hunting, drinking a beer or having a nice glass of wine.
Jean was known for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. If she didn’t like it, she would certainly let you know. She liked four letter words as much as she loved her sweets. She was very social and enjoyed chatting with everyone. Jean had the most infectious laugh that would light up any room. She had a special way with all of her grandbabies and great grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her loving spouse of 38 years, Roy Lee Pearson; Son, Mike Anderson, Daughter, Julie Hixon; Sister, Kay Torres, and her parents.
She leaves behind her daughters, Diane Quinn (Tom), Judy Peterson, Brenda Mulligan (Dick); Stepsons, Curtis Pearson (Dale) and Cary Pearson (Kelly); 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many loving extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Josh Peterson, Anthony Swanson, Cody Mulligan, Anthony Anderson, Michael Anderson, Brooks Woodfin, Mark Torres, Russell Hixon, Justin Moore.
