Marshall Watson

December 22, 1983November 12, 2017

Marshall Wells Watson, age 33, left this world on November 12, 2017. He lost his long time battle with severe depression and took his own life. Marshall was a loving, caring and talented friend, son and brother who had a passion for equality, human rights and the environment. He had a deep respect for nature and all of its gifts. Marshall loved animals, sports and mountain biking. After graduating from Birdville High School he attended UT Austin. Marshall had a natural gift for engineering, was an artist, expert on film and was always using his brilliant mind to create. His sense of humor brought joy to us all and his loyalty to loved ones was unbreakable and steadfast. Marshall was a donor to UT Southwestern Medical Center transplant services to help those in need. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to or the charity of your choice. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Tx 76034 at 12:30 pm.

Char and Steve,
Many years ago I dealt with losing a much beloved member of my family to suicide and will never forget the overwhelming sadness that engulfed me. You are heroic for shedding light on the vicious disease of depression and it's consequences. Thank you for your courage. You and Steve are in my thoughts and prayers.
