Born on October 16, 1926, in Guangdong, China, Martha was the beloved daughter of Li Chang Chong and Tay Wun Lan. She spent her childhood in Guangdong before beginning a remarkable life devoted to family, perseverance, and love.

Martha married the love of her life, Felipe Chujoy, and together they built a beautiful family, raising eleven children. As a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, she dedicated her life to caring for those she loved and creating a warm, welcoming home filled with laughter, delicious food, and lasting memories.

Martha will be remembered as a mother who possessed a sharp mind, a quick wit, and an extraordinary photographic memory. Even at an advanced age, she maintained a fierce independence—a trait she proudly passed down to her children. Her strength, determination, and resilience inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.

To her family, Martha was an adventurous gourmet chef who masterfully prepared beloved Chinese and Peruvian dishes. Living near the coast during much of her life, she cherished spending time by the sea with her children, creating treasured memories that would last for generations.

A gifted artisan and entrepreneur, Martha founded a specialized textile business where she created alpaca sweaters, traditional chullo hats, and custom orthopedic mittens. Her exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to her work earned her a loyal clientele ranging from distinguished patrons to individuals with physical disabilities seeking her specialized creations. She also found great joy in crocheting beautiful tablecloths, each piece reflecting her patience, creativity, and love.

Blessed with an enduring curiosity and a passion for learning, Martha embraced new challenges throughout her life. Well into her eighties, she mastered the iPhone and delighted in the ways it allowed her to remain closely connected to her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She also became an enthusiastic user of the iPad, which opened a world of entertainment, information, and discovery. Whether reading the news, listening to music, watching documentaries, enjoying lighthearted videos, or studying finance, she approached every day with a desire to learn something new.

Animals held a sacred place in Martha’s heart. Her beloved Afghan Hound, Pinki, was truly love at first sight and became a devoted companion and protector. Martha lovingly cared for Pinki through countless hours of grooming and attention. Her passion for dogs continued with Stryker and Puppet, her cherished show dogs. She enthusiastically supported them, traveling hundreds of miles for dog shows, veterinary appointments, and visits with breeders and trainers.

Above all, Martha’s greatest legacy was her family. Friends and loved ones will forever remember her as a remarkably strong, nurturing woman who expressed her deepest love through the meals she prepared and the care she gave to others. Though her childhood was marked by the hardships and uncertainty of World War II, those experiences shaped her unwavering determination to provide a better future for her children. Together, Martha and Felipe made education a cornerstone of their family values, proudly ensuring that all eleven of their children attended private schools and were given every opportunity to succeed.

Their legacy grew into a family of approximately eighty cherished children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each carrying forward the values of love, perseverance, hard work, and devotion that Martha embodied throughout her life.

Martha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felipe Chujoy, and her daughter, Carmen Chujoy.

She is survived by her ten loving children: Viviana, Teri, Dominga, Rosa, Felix, Victor, Enrique, Ana Maria, Cesar, and Carlos; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Martha’s life was a testament to resilience, compassion, curiosity, and unwavering devotion to family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am with the graveside service following at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, both at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
