

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Sue Johnson-Arizpe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, who left this world on January 13th, 2024. She was 91 years old.
Born on December 16th, 1932, Sue lived a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience. She touched the hearts of those around her with her warm smile and compassionate spirit. Throughout her journey, she embraced the roles of wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend with grace.
Sue experienced the joys of matrimony twice in her lifetime. In her first marriage to Henry Lee Johnson, she built a foundation of love, creating cherished memories and a beautiful family. Together, they faced life's challenges with strength and unity, leaving an enduring legacy of commitment and partnership.
After Henry's passing, Sue found love once again. She married Eddie Arizpe, creating a new chapter in her life. Their shared laughter, companionship, and unwavering support for each other added depth and richness to her later years.
Beyond her roles as a wife, Sue was a dedicated mother to Carolyn and Bryan, instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and perseverance. Shee was also a devoted step-mother to Eddie's children, Ron Arizpe and his wife Amanda, and Mitch Arizpe and his wife Kim. She reveled in the joys of grandparenthood, creating lasting bonds with her grandchildren, Parker and Preston Johnson as well as Eddie's five grandchildren too.
Sue will be remembered for her resilience, kindness, and the love she spread throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is preceded by her father, Morris Clark and her mother, Dovie Sanford. She is also preceded by her sister, Leta Clark-Miller and her brother, Max Clark. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Bennett. Her children Carolyn Johnson (Larry) and Bryan Johnson (Judy), her stepsons Ron Arizpe (Amanda) and Mitch Arizpe (Kim). She is also survived by Tamy Jay and family, Melody Feaster and family, Chuck Clark and family, Stacy Johnson and family. As well as by her grandchildren Preston Johnson, Parker Johnson, Lacey Lemke and family, Travis and family, Matthew, Jared and family, Jacob, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Amberly Jordan and family.
A memorial service to celebrate Sue's life will be held on January 26th, 2024 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to their charity of choice.
May Martha Sue Johnson-Arizpe rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and warmth she brought to the world.
A visitation for Martha will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, followed by a committal from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
