Mrs. Mary Frances Skaggs

Mary Frances Skaggs, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great -great grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Colleyville, TX. She was born on October 7, 1936, in Willis, Oklahoma.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Thelma Miller; brother Steve Miller and son Roger Skaggs.

She is survived by her loving husband Lowell Skaggs. They were high school sweetheats and married November 6, 1954.

She is survived by her sister Ruth Sandal.

She is lovingly survived by her children: son, Stanley Skaggs and his wife Sandy, along with their children Jerrad, Jeff, and Kristi; son, Gary Skaggs and his wife Jane, along with daughters Lesley, Lisa and Kitty; daughter in law, Denise Skaggs along with children Jennifer and Travis and son, Phillip Skaggs along with daughter Emma and son Vann. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Alex, Isis, Hannah, Hadley, Hensley, Henning, Oakley, Christian and Haddie.

Great-great grandchild Jaylin Skaggs, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and loving church family.

She will be missed immensely by family and friends.

Mary is defined by her family as a Devoted Christian, Dedicated house wife, Soft spoken, Sweet, Kind, Protective, Hard working, Loving, Intelligent, Strong...She had to be to keep up with Dad and four sons and a fierce domino and 42 player. Her hobbies included camping, boating, fishing, baking and decorating birthday cakes, sewing clothes, knitting and crocheting, needlepoint and babysitting.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 11, 2026 at 130pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home 5725 Colleyville Blvd; Colleyville, Texas 76034. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow the service at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
