Mavis Ann Dennis

Mavis Dennis, 83, of Bedford passed away on June 2, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She was born in Wichita Falls, TX on December 22, 1934 to William Jackson and Lola May Montague Clements. She attended Northside High School in Ft. Worth, TX and in 1954 she met the love of her life James Thomas Dennis and they were later married. She was a wonderful homemaker and dedicated most of her life to her devoted family.

Survivors include her 2 daughters Sherrie Reider and her husband Steve of Bedford, TX; Dena McDaniel and her husband John of North Richland Hills, TX; grandchildren Stephanie Lyons, Ryan McDaniel, Erin Reider and Leslie Caban; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Dennis in 2012.

A Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 12:30 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. A private family burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park on a later date.
