Melba Fay Wilson

Melba Fay Wilson, 81, of Arlington, Texas passed away on March 15, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She would give to others before taking for herself.

Melba was born on June 20, 1936 in Bowie County, Texas to Myrtis May and Marion William Askew. Melba was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ted Wilson, parents; Myrtis and Marion Askew, siblings; Jan Wells, Charles Askew, and Kenneth Askew.

She is survived by her children: Ricky Wilson and his wife Gina, Randy Wilson and his wife Missie, Rusty Wilson and his wife Sandy, and Julie Flores and her husband Pete, Grandchildren: Jay Wilson and his wife Lisa, Mandi Wilson, Sharla Wilson, Michelle Wilson, Megan Atkins and her husband Stephen, Kristi Wilson, Ryon Wilson, and Taylor Wilson; Great-Grandchildren: Alexis Parks and her husband Billy, Austin Rowe, Lailey Hicks, and Jace Hicks; and Great-Great Grandchild: Aria Parks; Sisters: Patricia Stephens, Brenda Cooper and her husband Grady, and brother Donnie Askew. She is also survived by companion Neil Dahl. The visitation will be held from 2-5 on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 19, 2018. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
