After graduating from South Windsor High School, Mike immediately enlisted in the US Air Force, where he was stationed at various bases across Europe, including Ramstein, Germany, and Sevilla, Spain. His dedication to service extended beyond his family, as he contributed his time as an usher at his church for many years. Upon retirement, Mike continued giving back by volunteering at the Amon G. Carter Flight Museum and the USO at DFW.
