Michael P Monk

Michael Paul Monk of Colleyville, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday morning, April 27th, 2026. Mike was born June 22nd, 1955 in Waterloo, Iowa and eventually settled with his parents in Fort Worth, Texas.

He attended Pascal High School in Fort Worth and learned about the construction trades from his grandfather L.D. Mike continued his education at Colorado State University to eventually incorporate Haven Homes, Inc. In 1981. Mike would go on to build many custom homes in the Dallas/FortWorth area and Southwest Florida. He was a mentor and perfectionist who established building standards for industry.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Trisha Monk and Son's Michael Monk, Dennis Gossett Jr, Scotty Gossett Siblings Debbey Monk, Terry Monk and 5 grandchildren.
