Michael Wayne Pound

Michael Wayne Pound of Irving, Texas, died on May 13, 2026 at his home in Irving.

He was born on July 30, 1958 to Kellis Wayne Pound and Linda Culbertson Pound in Chula Vista, California. He was a graduate of Grapevine High School and attended college at Utah State, Centenary College and University of Houston.

He was assistant manager in his father’s manufacturing company in Irving, Texas, for more than forty years. He loved to travel and was a long-time Dallas Mavericks season ticket holder.

Michael was predeceased by his father Kellis, uncles Jerry and Sammy Culbertson, and grandparents Sam and Jerry Culbertson and Cordis and Mary Pound.

He is survived by daughters Olivia Pound, Fort Worth, Texas, and Caroline Pound, Dallas, Texas, sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Bart Jennings, Dripping Springs, Texas, nieces Sarah Heath and husband Dr. Spencer Heath, Fort Worth,Texas, and Aisling Jennings, Bellington, Washington, mother Linda Pound of Colleyville, Texas and many other treasured family members and friends.

Michael will be remembered with a graveside service at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, Texas, on a date to be named later.
