

Mickey Lee Hill of Bedford, Texas, passed away on December 20th,2019. He passed away in the home under Hospice care with his family by his side. Mickey lived with Parkinson’s for years yet remained hopeful and caring during the last weeks of his life. As a young man he was enlisted in the army for four years and was honorably discharged with military honors. His later life was spent doing home remodeling.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Sue Hill, his son, Matthew Ian Hill, his sister, Colleen Hill Kirkpatrick, nephews ,David Klappholz, Eric Klappholz , Sam Melnyk, and a niece, Rachel Melnyk. He was preceded in death by his father, Irwin Frank Hill, his mother Mary Katherine Hill, and two sisters, Janet Justice and Barbara Melnyk.
Visitation, funeral service, and internment, will be scheduled in late spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation.

Mickey Lee Hill of Bedford, Texas, passed away on December 20th, 2019.
He was in his home under Hospice care with his loving family by his side. Mick was born June 4 1954 in Stuttgart Germany into a military family. They traveled in his youth and then settled in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. It was there in high school he met the love of his life Sue McCoy before their marriage in 1990.
As a young man he enlisted in the army, after 4 yrs he was honorably discharged with military honors. He then spent many years in construction and home remodeling. He was an artist at heart who did beautiful tile and wood work.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Sue Hill, and his son, Matthew Ian Hill both of Bedford. A sister, Colleen Hill Kirkpatrick in Tulsa, Ok, nephews David Klappholz in Tennessee and Eric Klappholz in Dallas. Nephew Sam Melnyk and a niece, Rachel Melnyk both in Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Col Irwin Frank Hill, his mother Mary Kathryn (Jacobs)Hill, and two sisters, Janet (Hill)Justice and Barbara (Hill) Melnyk.
Mickey lived with Parkinson’s for years and battled it while remaining hopeful and caring even in the last weeks of his life. He will be remembered for his adventures, his kindness and his gentle love of life. He enjoyed hiking and climbing any mountain he found, and would spend his time camping under the stars when he wasn’t working.
