

Mike was born on August 1, 1944 to James and Elizabeth Neal in Fort Worth, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy, Mike was aboard the USS Ranger, and was sent to Korea to rescue the USS Pueblo. Mike was a past commander of VFW Post #4695, while serving this post he and the American Legion established the Veterans Memorial Garden at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, and playing cards. Mike owned several Town and Country Cleaners in the Metroplex. Mike was working at Thomas Protective Agency when he suffered from a heart attack, and fought valiantly with heart disease for a year and eight months.
Survivors: Beloved wife of 32 years Linda, beloved dog; Lyla, siblings; Tony Neal, wife Vickie, Mark Neal, and Jamie Allen, brother-in-law; David Griffey, and Vickie Bourassa, mother and father-in-law; Manuel and Juanita Griffey , and a host of extended family members.
