Mr. Mikel John Ramey

January 8, 1958February 12, 2021

Mike Ramey entered his heavenly home on February 12, 2021.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew and loved him.

Mike was born on January 8, 1958 in Commerce, TX to John and Louise Ramey. He was a 1976 graduate of Grapevine High School. In 1983, Mike began working for the Tarrant Appraisal District until his retirement in March of 2019.

He enjoyed relaxing at his Lake Fork property, wood working, watching John Wayne movies, Texas Barbeque, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family. We were so blessed to have such a loving man in our lives that would drop anything he was doing to make sure his family and friends were taken care of. He will be sorely missed each and every day.

Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Roxanne Ramey, his son Jason Ramey, daughters, Megan Rater and husband, Jimmie Rater, Morgan Snell and husband, Zach Snell, and Mikayla Ramey, grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brady Ramey, Piper Rater, Sadie, Landyn, Greyson and Hadley Snell.

He was preceded in death by parents, John and Louise Ramey.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on February 26, 2021 at The Hills Church in North Richland Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Enrichment Center located at 6250 NE Loop 820, FT Worth, TX 76180.

What a beautiful memorial service. The grief of losing someone is a testament to how much that person meant to family and friends. A man of love and faith and humor, Mike will clearly be in the fond memories of the many people he shared his life with. Our thoughts and prayers will be with the entire family through this time of loss.

Mike was a dear member of the Douglas & Francis Holden family. He & his family used to enthusiastically attend our annual Martin Wuensche 3-day family reunion at Lake Whitney each summer, as well as our yearly Christmas Eve festivities, making and bringing fantastic food.
😪I don't know how to go on without him, but I must find a way.
☆Say hello to Mom and Dad in Heaven for me please.
♡Love you always.
