He was born January 13, 1940 in Kerens, Navarro County, Texas to Milton and Dora Cordell. Milton owned Cordell & Company Insurance Agency, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas which has been in business for over fifty years. Milton was proud and honored to be a member of Kerens, Texas High School Class of 1958. Milton’s saying “life has been great, had a lot of fun & met a lot of great people. It has been a great ride & I wish I could do it all again.” Those who preceded Milton in passing are his parents, brother Jerry Cordell, and brother-in-law Owen Crocker.
Survived by wife Ellen Cordell, Son Lance Thompson and wife Kelsey, Daughter Paulette Roundtree & husband Larry, sister-in-law Glenda Cordell, sister Elma Lee Crocker, brother in Law Bill Younger, Step Children Steven Jenefsky & wife Kristi, Rusty Matthews, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
