Papa,
I love you, Papa. You were one of the kindest, humble and caring men I've ever know. You always told me how proud you were of me, however not sure I told you enough how proud I was of you. You were the patriarch of the Mayes Family and you made sure everyone was okay - to the best of your ability. You will be missed so much! Give grandma a kiss for me.

All my love,
Mandy

Mitchell Mayes was a very big part of my life. I loved him like a father. He was always there to help me and Ronnie. One of my memories would be the day Ronnie Mayes bought me home to his dads house. I had been a very bad car accident, and Mitchell didn’t bat an eye he took me in. Didn’t ask any questions he just new I needed help and his son Ronnie loved me. Mitchell I love you dearly and I thank god you didn’t turn me away and help me get the rest and care I needed. I have a few pictures of you that I love but this one I post here is my favorite.

Greatest man of all time. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, honest, hard working grandfather. You will forever be loved. Thank you PaPal for everything, thank you for just being you.
Watch over us PaPal as you sit in your recliner in your kingdom above us.
Forever missed but Never Forgotten.
