

Molly Sue Barber, 79, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on May 29, 2026.
Born on May 16, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, Molly was the beloved daughter of Kingston John Wesley Stevenson and Mable Sue Stevenson. She grew up in the Fort Worth area and later married the love of her life, Roland Barber, on January 26, 1968, in Arlington, Texas. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories.
Molly devoted herself to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved. She joined Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a philanthropic sorority, with her daughter Lori where she enjoyed fellowship and service to others.
Known for her kind and generous spirit, Molly deeply loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them. She especially cherished her role as “Grandmother Molly” and was incredibly proud of her two granddaughters, Emily and Sophia. Her family remembers her as someone who always had a smile on her face and a caring heart for everyone she met.
Molly found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed traveling, embroidery, needlepoint, and, of course, chocolate. Some of her favorite travel destinations included Colorado, Tennessee, and Alaska, where she made treasured memories with family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Roland Barber of Bedford, Texas; her daughter, Lori Tubbs and son-in-law Larry Tubbs of North Richland Hills, Texas; and her beloved granddaughters, Emily Tubbs and Sophia Tubbs.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents, K.J. Stevenson and Mable Sue Stevenson.
Though she will be deeply missed, Molly's legacy of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation for Molly will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, June 3, and the funeral service will begin at 10am on Thursday, June 4, both will be at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, with a reception will follow.
