Nancy Jean Gibbs Bible, 78, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Nancy was born March 30, 1937, in Fort Worth to Eugene and Thelma Gibbs. Nancy was a strong Christian woman devoted to her family alongside her husband of 59 years, Paul Bible. Nancy undoubtedly had a heart of generosity and for serving others. She showed this through decades of service in church children's programs. In her spare time she was an avid historian and genealogist. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Lurie. Survivors: Husband, Paul; son, Douglas Bible and wife, Debbie; daughter, Bethany Smith; granddaughter, Caitlyn Zappia and husband, Daniel; great-granddaughter, Delilah Zappia; sister, Donna Royce and husband, Roger Royce; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Graveside service: 2 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park for family and close friends.
