Nancy Rose Martin Hart

Nancy Rose Martin Hart passed from life Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at the age of 77 years. Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Nancy was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Crane to John Hensley Martin and Ruth Tenny Nelson Martin. Her parents lived in Lynn County, where she started school in a two-room schoolhouse. She and her family moved to Tahoka in 1948. The later moved to Seagraves in Gaines County in 1952. She graduated from Seagraves High School as salutatorian of the Class of 1956. Nancy married Conley Darrell Hart in Seagraves on Oct. 18, 1958. Two sons were born of this union, Todd Edwin Hart and Kevin Brent Hart. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Conley and Dovie Hart; brother, John Franklin Martin; three sisters, Willie Lee Ramsey, Lois Emmy Murdock and Johnnie Ruth Doran; and a brother-in-law, Don Hart. Survivors: Her husband of 57 years, Darrell Hart; sons, Todd Hart and Kevin Hart and wife, Bonnie; grandsons, Christopher Hart and Jonathan Hart; brother, L.M. Martin and wife, Margritte; sister, Catherin Mitchell; brother-in-law, Jerry Hart; sister-in-law, Susan Hart; and several nieces and nephews.
