She was born March 8, 1934, in Borger, Texas, the daughter of the late Molly and Charles Richardson, and graduated from Poly High School in Fort Worth.
Nancy married the love of her life Raymond F. Williams Sr. on July 23, 1951. They were devoted to their three children; Karen K. Woolsey, Raymond F. Williams Jr. and Stephen C. Williams, and were members of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
To know Nancy was to know love, strength, acceptance, and joy. When met with hardship after her husband was injured in an accident, she endeavored successfully to turn her immense talent for baking, cake decorating, and gardening into a thriving business. Though it was hard work, hers was a labor of love, and she established and ran Cake Boutique and Flowers in Meadowbrook for 32 years. The business was well known in the community, and her extraordinary gingerbread houses became holiday fixtures in many homes and businesses throughout the Metroplex.
More than anything, Nancy adored her family which has grown to include 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Her grandchildren will miss elaborate Easter egg hunts in her backyard and Christmases spent around the tree in her home.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Molly and Charles Richardson; husband, Raymond F. Williams, Sr. and son, Stephen C. Williams.
Nancy is survived by her children, Karen K. Woolsey (Roy) and Raymond F. Williams, Jr. (Cynthia); her grandchildren, James Rose (Monica), Jeffrey Woolsey (Caron), Brian Woolsey (Marquell), Misty Woolsey, Amanda Delmotte (Ryan), Tara Sandoval (Rufino), Craig Williams (Tiffanie), and Stacy Fanning (Justin); her 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.
