Ms. Neva Kathleen Moore

Neva Moore, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on January 15, 2020 in Coppell, Texas. She was born on March 28, 1934 in Biardstown, Texas to Naomi and Olen Smith. She completed her diploma at Cunningham High School.

Neva loved all of her family. She was a wonderful mother, and an adoring grandmother. She was also thrilled when she became a great grandmother.

Her faith was central to her life, and reading her Bible was a favorite pastime.

Neva enjoyed spending time around her home. She loved cooking holiday dinners and baking special birthday cakes for her family and friends. She liked tending to her yard and flowers and insisted on doing her own yardwork, way past when it was good for her!

Neva is survived by her children: Michael Moore (Christy) of Haltom City, Texas., Lynda Hodge (Gary) of Little Elm, Texas. and Gina Velez (Manuel) of North Richland Hills, Texas. Grandchildren: Christina Moore, Halie Moore, Chase Hodge, Caitlyn Hodge Worledge, Nicholas Velez, and Rachael Velez. Great grandchildren: Elle Worledge and Ayden Worledge. And her brother, Ken Smith (Jan) and sister Opal Anders. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Naomi Smith, her Father, Olen Smith, her brother Ronnie Smith, and brother, Gene Smith.

The visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Smithfield Baptist Church, North Richland Hills. There will be a reception at the church immediately following the service. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m.
