Nila Harlene Tinker, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2018 at HEB Hospital in Bedford, Texas. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother to all that knew her. She was born on March 5, 1935 in Williamsville, Missouri to Arvey and Willa Buck.
Nila worked in the bus ministry at Rockhill Baptist Church when her children were young. Later, she was part of the prayer chain and prayed for people’s health and needs. She read her bible every night before she went to bed ever since the age of twelve.
Nila is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Linda Buck, of Piedmont, Missouri; son, Curtis Tinker, of Hurst, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Kimon and Sharaon Tinker, of Houston, Texas; son-in-law and daughter, Keith and Tambra Smith, of Richland Hills, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley and Jackson Hulett, Jason Smith, Alexia Tinker; and great grandchildren, Landon and Cathenia Hulett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Tinker, after 60 years of marriage.
The visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
