Odessa Marie Sharpless was called home to be with the Lord and many loved ones on October 4th, 2014. She was born in Grapevine, TX, September 18, 1928 spending most of her growing up years in the Bedford-Euless area. She graduated from Euless High School in 1945. She served Roanoke as City Secretary for 20 years. She was preceded in death by husband, James Sharpless; parents, Ray and Sarah Fitch; brothers, Richard, Marvin and Raymond Joe Fitch; and sisters, Catherine Conway and Martha Sanders. She will be missed by her son, Royce Cannon; grandson, Bud (Royce Cannon Jr.); brother, John Fitch and his wife Jennie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 7th. Celebration of life will be held at Bluebonnet Hills at 10am on Wednesday, October 8th.
