

Ozell Temple Ascue, Jr. of Plano, Texas passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to all that knew and loved him. He was born on December 31, 1947 in Fort Wort, Texas to Ozell Temple Ascue, Sr. and Gladys Groves Ascue.
Temple grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan College in 1970 with a BBA. After graduating, Temple began his career at Braniff International where he met Joan. Temple and Joan were married in 1978 in East Point, Georgia and settled in Arlington, Texas. Temple later left Braniff and transitioned to a career in tech support. He retired several years ago and began travelling internationally with Joan. Temple and Joan last resided in Plano, Texas.
Temple is survived by his wife Joan Ascue (nee Gardner); beloved fur babies, Winnie, Cricket and Peanut; brother-in-law, Curtis Gardner and wife Dina; nephew, Shannon Gardner and wife Sammie; niece, Amber Rauscher and husband Chad; a great nephew and numerous great nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park where Temple will be laid to rest beside his parents.
