BEDFORD -- Pablo Valdes, 94, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at his residence in Bedford. Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3713 Harwood Rd., Bedford, 76021. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park following the service. Visitation and rosary: 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. He was born in Totatiche, Jalisco, Mexico. He was dedicated to his farm and agriculture for the majority of his long and productive life. He married Maria Concepcion Valdes and together had 12 beautiful children, all of whom helped operate the farm while growing up. Later in his life he moved to Texas for retirement to be close to his family. Survivors: Children, Evelia Quezada of Fresno, Calif., Otilio and Fernando Valdes of Irving, Guadalupe Sanchez, Lino Valdes, Jesus Valdes and Rosalba Campos of Euless, Silvia Davis of Bedford; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
