

Pauline was born on April 4, 1928 in Kaufman County, Texas. She was the daughter of Jarry and Agnes Bezdek Svoboda who emigrated to the U.S. from Czechoslovakia.
Pauline was raised with ten brothers and sisters. Pauline was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings shared many life experiences over the years. She attended school at Rossier, Kleberg and Seagoville.
On October 20, 1946 Pauline exchanged wedding vows with Namon Floyd Jones in Lewisville, Texas. Empathic and loyal, Pauline was committed to making her new family happy.
They made their home in Grapevine for 37 years where she was a housewife and mother of three children. Namon and Pauline moved to Aubrey where he passed away in 1990. She then moved to Canton and lived there for 22 years.
Pauline worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Pauline was blessed with two sons, Ernest and Johnny and one daughter, Kathryn. Another blessing for Pauline was the gift of 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, .
Pauline enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. She loved plants and tending to the flowers in her yard. She shared many of her flowers with friends, relatives and passersby who would stop and ask about her pretty yard.
Pauline passed away on January 8, 2017 in Flower Mound, Texas. She is survived by daughter, Kathryn Lovette; son, Johnny Jones; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas. Pauline was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Pauline was an individual who will be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Pauline leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Pauline Kathryn Jones. Our family will always be thankful that she was ours to share. She touched a place in our hearts that we will forever hold dear. We are a blessed family.

Pauline Jones, 88, of Canton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, in Flower Mound. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
