Peggy Sue Miesner, 87, was born on August 7, 1939, and passed away on August 24, 2026. She will be remembered as a beloved and devoted presence in the lives of those who knew her—faithful in spirit, thoughtful in word and deed, and consistently kind-hearted in the quiet ways that matter most. Her life reflected a selfless care for others, offered steadily and without fanfare.
Peggy Sue was a homemaker, and she gave that role the dignity of wholehearted devotion. Family was central to her life, and she took deep pride in raising her children and supporting her grandchildren. In the home she built and the care she extended, her faithful love was evident—expressed through attentiveness, patience, and a gentle steadiness that made others feel valued.
She was also an excellent interior designer, even though she did not pursue it as a career. Her thoughtful eye and sense of beauty showed in the spaces she shaped and the warmth she created. She also enjoyed caring for her yard and flower gardens, tending them with the same quiet devotion that defined so much of her life.
Peggy Sue was married to Charles E. Miesner. She was the mother of Shelley (Claude) Reece and the late Jeffrey Miesner, who passed away in 1998. She was the grandmother of Chelsie Beard and Jennifer Reece, and the great-grandmother of Pierce Burton and Aubrey Burton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, on August 29, 2026, at 1:30 pm with interment to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Peggy Sue’s memory will be carried forward with gratitude and love, honored in the lives she shaped through her faithful heart, her thoughtful care, and her devoted presence.
