Mrs. Priscilla J. Sebesta

Jeannie was born on January 1, 1940, in Kennett, Missouri, to Charles B. and Ida M. Ford (née Lindsey). The youngest of eleven children, she grew up in Murphysboro, Illinois. She married Frederick Joseph Sebesta, on January 11, 1964, and they enjoyed fifty-eight years together.

Jeannie was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who was always the heart of the Sebesta home. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, particularly making music together and playing games. She enjoyed reading, painting landscapes, and fly fishing with Fred. She was a secretary/bookkeeper for F.J. Sebesta & Associates, a manufacturer’s representative company, for many years.

Her faith inspired and guided her in all things in her life, and we know that she is now in God’s loving arms for eternity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and baby Charles Wesley Sebesta, who passed away in 1969 and is interred at Bluebonnet Hills, where his loving Mom will rest beside him.

Jeannie is survived by her husband Fred, her daughter Julie Gurecky and husband Howard and their children William and Catherine, her daughter Judy, her son Stephen Sebesta and wife Amy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Priscilla will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. Burial will immediately follow in the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Union Gospel Mission of Fort Worth, Texas.
