Randy Lynn Dansby

Randy Lynn Dansby, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, in Denton, Texas. He was born on August 2, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Dolphus and Ninelle Dansby. Randy was raised in Colleyville, Texas, and graduated from Grapevine High School in 1975.

Randy had a gentle spirit and a heart that made people feel welcome. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—going out to eat, meeting new people, watching movies, playing a game of pool, and, of course, enjoying a good smoke. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends and treasured the laughter and companionship that came with those moments.

Randy also enjoyed his outings with the Denton Senior Center, where he made memories and enjoyed the opportunity to get out, visit with others, and experience new adventures. One of his favorite outings was a trip to the Texas State Fair.

Those who knew Randy will remember him as a kind, gentle, and loving person with a wonderful sense of humor and a knack for getting into a little mischief. He carried a childlike spirit throughout his life. His warm personality and genuine kindness touched the lives of many, and he had a way of making people smile simply by being himself.

Randy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter he brought into the lives of others, and the many special moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Rest peacefully, Randy. You will be loved and remembered always.

A Graveside Service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, US, on September 14, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
