

Rebecca was born on July 31, 1949 in Tarrant County, and grew up in Richland Hills, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 1973, and a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs in 1975. Rebecca would later go on to receive certifications in Computer Programming during the early days of the Information Technology Industry.
Rebecca worked for a number of years as a High School Mathematics Teacher for both the Spring Branch Independent School District in Houston Texas, and also for the Irving Independent School District. Later in life, Rebecca would become an entrepreneur, creating one of the first American Sign Language dictionaries on the internet, and would proceed to create numerous online boutique ventures combining internet technology and her love of creative arts. Rebecca had a passion specifically for her music, her creativity, and her relationship with Jesus Christ.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Wayne Martin, and her beloved husband, Mark Lee Snyder, and Sister-in-Law, Brenda Martin.
Rebecca is survived by her mother, Mary Annette Martin, her brother, Phil Martin, her son Sean Lynch and his wife Misty, her son Damien Lynch and his wife Jodee, her daughter Kelly Lynch and her wife Erica, and by her grandchildren Alexandra, Natalie, Julie, William and Colin.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Rebecca’s Life at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home at 5725 Colleyville Blvd in Colleyville, Texas on Saturday, September 23rd at 11AM.
