

Reginald Zan Martin "Reggie" age 81 - Did It His Way.
He passed away on July 22, 2014 with the help of God, after a stroke suffered on July 6, 2014.
Reggie was an only child born to Zan and Ethel Martin of Wolfe City, Texas on January 11, 1933. He attended school and graduated from Wolfe City High School. He attended college at East Texas State, in Commerce, Texas, now part of Texas A&M. He served in the Navy before moving to Odessa, Texas where he began his career in the oil and gas Industry with Dungan Supply before going to work for Gardner Denver. Gardner Denver transferred him to Dallas, Texas where he began his rather colorful career as a salesman. Reggie spent 53 years in sales to the oil and gas Industry. His last company was Fonda Enterprises which he and his wife had fun running side by side together....he did the talking and she did the paperwork.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and brother-in-law- Nicky Patterson
Survivors: Wife, Fonda Martin, Daughter Vyette Harper and her daughters Jamie Strong (Tim), Windy Sligar and Steffie Sligar. Son, Kyle Martin. Stepchildren JaDonn Shawver, her sons Dalton Law and Payton (Sara) and grandson Jaxon Law. Jason Shawver (Laurie) Ashton Shawver and Averi Shawer and Sydney Smith and A.J. Smith. Sister-in-law Judy Patterson, Nieces Michelle Watkins, Kristi Griffith (Chad) and Nephew Dusty Patterson. There are numerous cousins and friends that will miss that smile and funny story or joke...He could make you laugh.
