Robert J Austin

Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Light of the World Church, 8750 Old Denton Road, Fort Worth, with Pastor Greg Buetel officiating. Mr. Austin will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with a reception to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Friends are encouraged to gather and share memories with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville.

Robert was born in Madison, Wis., on April 6, 1966. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1984 and went to earn his bio engineering degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1988. He worked as a medical equipment service engineer for many years as he worked his way to vice president of Quality and Operation for EDAP in Austin.

Rob enjoyed spending time with family and friends, enjoying the beach, golfing, going to concerts, wineries, traveling different countries and states. He was dedicated to his Green Bay Packers. He loved living life to the fullest.

Robert is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Patricia Austin. They were married July 13, 2013, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Survivors: Rob is lovingly remembered by his wife, Patricia Austin of Fort Worth; daughters, Kayli and Karisa Austin of Wisconsin; parents, Robert and Kathryn Austin; brother, Craig Austin and wife, Jodi Austin; nieces, Ella and Abby Austin; nephew, Brady Austin, all of Wisconsin; stepchildren, Sara, Jason and Emily Manning of Fort Worth.
