

Robert was born on July 6, 1941 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. He was the son of Kenneth and Mildred Boroff. Robert grew up in Michigan. Robert was raised with one sister Charlene.
Robert enjoyed his college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Robert was able to manage the balancing act. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and went on to receive a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Fortunately, Robert enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Robert worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. After college he worked in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio. He eventually got tired of the snow and took a job in Fort Worth. He was a successful business man who worked as a financial controller and a real estate investor with his wife, Jackie. They owned several properties including "Boroff Plaza" and "Boroff Manor."
Robert lived in Colorado until his grandson was born and he moved back to Fort Worth. Every Sunday, Bob would spend time and play with his grandson until they both got in trouble and then he would take his son and grandson to lunch.
Robert was proud to be able to retire in his 50's. After retiring, his love of mountain biking took him to Colorado, where he learned to ski and would ski 100 days out of the year. Even in retirement, Robert continued to stay in touch with his old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Robert was active in his new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered him.
Robert passed away on December 26, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Bob is survived by his son, John Robert Boroff and wife, Sandy; grandson, Mufaro Robert Boroff; niece, Kristi Boothe and husband, Forrest; great-nephew, Lance Hostetler; uncle, Junior Borroff and aunt, Mary; and his former wife of over 40 years, Jackie Boroff.
Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas. Robert was laid to rest in the Mausoleum at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Robert was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Robert leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Bob was deeply devoted to his family and he will be missed.
