

Bob Carlini, of Colleyville, Texas, entered into the arms of his Loving Savior on July 7, 2021 after a brief, but intense, battle with brain cancer. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, husband, and friend.
He was born on August 14, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jewel and Tulio Carlini. He graduated from Cleveland State University and worked for Diamond Shamrock, later Occidental Chemical, for 42 years. His retirement was filled with many softball games on several different teams, grandkids’ events, walks with his dog Leroy, and volunteering for the non-profit Caring Hearts Charity.
Bob is survived by his three children and their spouses: Amy and Travis Hawks of Fort Worth, Texas; Lora and Bobby Katkic of Aledo, Texas; and Phoenix and Kristen Carlini of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Nathan and Kylie Hawks, and Chloe, Jenna, and Austin Katkic. He was preceded in death by his parents Tulio and Jewel, his sister Carol, and his wife Colette (Cookie) Carlini.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday July 16 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday July 17 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville, Texas. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. A reception will then be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church’s Great Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Online condolences may be made by visiting the Bluebonnet Hills website.
