Robert Micheal Dunlop

Robert “Bob” Dunlop passed away on August 27, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Celebration of Life: Thursday September 1, 2016 2:00 P.M. at North Richland Hills Centre 6000 Hawe Ave. NRH, TX 76018.

Bob was born on August 26, 1952 to Robert and Beth Dunlop in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1971. Bob was an avid hunter, and enjoyed hiking, collecting western art and traveling with his wife Laurie, where they took many cruises together. But most of all Bob loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, teaching them how to swim, tying their shoes and tie-dyeing shirts. He was proud of his son Chris who served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob retired honorable after 25 years with the North Richland Hills Police Department.

Those preceding Bob in death are his parents.

Survivors: beloved wife of 34 years Laurie Dunlop, son; Chris Dunlop, grandchildren; Kristen, Suhailey, Natalye and Hayden, brothers; Jim Dunlop, wife Cyndi and Rick Dunlop, wife Robbie, mother-in-law; Jan McQuilkin, sister-in-laws; Holly Garrington, Cheryl Nichols, husband Donnie and Denise Rietter, numerous nieces and nephews,his police family, beloved pets; Pogo, Snuggles, and Buttercup.
