Robert Roma Foster, 97, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 in Bedford, Texas – Brookdale Oak Hollow facility.
Born in Canton, Texas, he was the son of Thomas and Maud (Tramel) Foster. He served in the Army during World War 2 in the European Theatre from 1943 - 1945. He was employed as a production worker at General Motors in Arlington for 30 years. He and his wife, Virginia, were part of the original members of the Colleyville Assembly of God church and faithfully served since 1971.
Robert is pre-deceased by wife Virginia Rozel, daughter Wanda Griffin, brothers Jodie and Ferris Foster and sister Gladys Pearce. He is survived by daughters Margaret Strebeck of Euless, Texas and Fredia Harris of Cuba, Alabama, grandson Ernie Cote and granddaughter Aimee Jaquez, great grandchildren Zoe and Foster Cote, Bianca Segundo, Michael Jaquez, and great great granddaughter Olivia Segundo. Also survived by brothers Cozel Foster of Tyler, LaFrene Foster of Graham and sister RubyNell Norman of Canton. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
