

Bob will always be remembered as a loving father and was often referred to as a gentle giant and peaceful man. He always had a smile on his face. He was born on February 06, 1923 to Thomas Isaiah Harbour and Ollie Winifred Harbour (nee Harmond). Bob was raised on the family farm near Spearman, TX and attended the University of Texas at Austin after high school. Bob served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Lieutenant JG in the Naval Aviation group at NAS Corpus Christi, TX. Bob retired from the United States Postal Service.
He was married to Lona Margaret Lynch who preceded him in death and later was married to Iris Charlotte Lake who also preceded him in death. Mr. Harbour was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ira Adrian Harbour, Lewis Cedric Harbour, and Monty Paul Harbour; and sisters Ollie Leota Gibbin, Lena Jo Harbour, Mary Nell Webster, and May Lee Smith.
Bob is survived by sisters Avis Marie Smith and Jerry Beth Johnson; children Stephanie King and husband Ronald Dick, Thomas Harbour and wife Sylvia, Deborah Harbour and husband Robert McMenamin and Phillip Harbour and wife Lisa; step-children include Tina Johnson, Teresa Hamm and Greg Hardy; grandchildren Steven King and wife Stacey, Kevin King and wife Tracy, Shawn McMenamin and wife Alyse Hill, Jason Harbour, Matthew Harbour and Joshua Harbour and wife Laura; and great grandchildren Jessica, Steven Scott Jr., Julia, Aidan, Liam, Hailey and Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will attend a private funeral on Tuesday March 31 at 10 o'clock in the morning followed by a private graveside service on Wednesday April 1, 2020 in Amarillo, TX.
