Robert (Bob) J. Kaumeyer died peacefully on August 27, 2014 at the age of 69. He quietly passed from this life and into eternal life. Bob opened his eyes looking into the face of his precious Savior, Jesus Christ.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church, The Colony.
Bob was born January 11, 1945 in Santa Monica, California. He spent his growing up years in Lancaster, Ohio and Pacific Palisades, California. After graduating from Cal Poly, Pomona he went to Dallas Theological Seminary graduating in 1970. It was just before his third year that he and his wife Jana were married. Bob served as a pastor, church planter, and staff member in churches in both the Dallas area and in Pasadena, California.
Bob is survived by his wife Jana of 44 years. His daughter Katy and her husband Luke. His older son Kyle and wife Charmaine. His younger son Kris and wife Adrienne. Bob also had four grandchildren he absolutely adored - Isabelle, Daniel, Gabe, and Isaac.
Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him - he never met a stranger only friends he hadn't met yet.
