Burial service: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29th at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 20, 1938, in Texarkana, TX to Charles and Susie Lovett. He married Marjan Baker Lovett on Nov. 23, 1984, in Lewisville, TX. Mr. Lovett served in the US Air Force and US Army from 1955 to 1965. He attended Loyola University New Orleans and graduated in 1969 with a BBA in Accounting. He began his 36-year career in insurance with Maryland Casualty Insurance in New Orleans. He was the President of Louisiana General Agency in Shreveport from 1984 to 1994. Bob was an avid reader and also loved automobiles and golf.
He will be remembered for his generosity, determination and love of family. He will be missed by many friends and colleagues.
Survivors: His wife of 29 years, Marjan Lovett of Hurst; sister, Mary Chancellor of Hurst; sons, Lance Lovett, Matthew Lovett and Chris Lovett; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
