Robert J. Peters

Robert Peters, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on June 15th in North Richland Hills. He will be fondly remembered by all that knew and loved him. He was born on August 18, 1943 in Belvidere, Illinois to Carl and Aldona Peters. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce (Schuring) of North Richland Hills, Texas; Daughter Marcia Ditto and husband Douglas and children, Dalton and Preston of Midlothian, Texas; Son Mark Peters and wife, Jill and children Lauren and Noah of Burleson, Texas; Daughter Melinda Bryant and husband Matthew and children Calvin and Cassidy Chancellor of Midlothian, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph Peters. The visitation will be held from 6-9 pm on Wednesday June 20th at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Thursday June 21st at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with a reception to follow at Doug and Marcia Ditto’s residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brookdale Hospice or Peace Lutheran Church.
