

Robert “Bob” Valencia was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. He unexpectedly passed on July 22nd 2023, at the age of 68. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Marvin & Helen Valencia on November 22nd 1954, the youngest of 3 children. In1977 he received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Texas, where he also met the love of his life Sherri. Many years later, their love was rekindled and they were finally married in 2014. Bob was a pioneer in the medical industry for over 45 years. Along with a brilliant mind filled with infinite industry knowledge, his relentless support of product development and worldwide sales made him a well-respected member of the medical community.
Robert was a connoisseur of fine wine, first-class dining, and preferably - Cuban cigars. His passion for music was only rivaled by his obsession with sports, which is an understatement. He was a world traveler, and most recently spent a month with his wife in multiple European countries; indulging in entertainment, high caliber spirits and the finest foods that Europe has to offer. Robert had an unmatched zest for life, evident by the sparkle in his eyes. His storytelling abilities allowed you to relive his experiences as if they were your own. Robert was everyone's best friend, he did not judge and lived as though others did the same. He was bigger than life, and there will never be another person like him.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sherri Valencia. His daughter Sarah, his son Jordan and wife MaryMichael. Step-children Cody, his fiancé Allison, Amber, her husband Cliff, Justin, and his wife Lilly. His sister, Deborah Valencia, his grandchildren Sherman, Niko, Leah, Nova, Mikayla, Cliff Jr., Christian and more in the near future.
A gathering for Robert will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034. Funeral will proceed at 10:30 AM, with burial taking place at 11:30am. Reception to follow.
