CMSgt (Ret) Mr. Robert E. Wilson

Bob was a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School (Class of 1966) and a loyal career veteran of over 22 years service in the United States Air Force. An enlistee, he rose up to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His service included duty tours throughout the United States, Europe, and the Pacific, including Vietnam.

Following his military career, Bob was employed by the U.S. Department of Energy and also devoted his free time to assisting veterans regarding issues and benefits of the Disabled Servicemen.

He was a member of several fraternal and veteran organizations and a devoted lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh professional sports teams.

Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Ginger, and is survived by his devoted son, Keith, of Euless, Texas. In addition, he is survived by his brother, George; sister-in-law, Patricia; nieces, Molly Knorr and Megan Smulski; grandnieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.

His interment is scheduled to be at a future date at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
