OBITUARY

Mrs. Roberta Lou Pollard

April 18, 1941 – April 27, 2021
Obituary of Mrs. Roberta Lou Pollard
IN THE CARE OF

Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park

Roberta Lou Pollard passed away at her home in Keller, Texas on April 27, 2021. She was 80 years old.

Born in Cassville (Barry County), Missouri on April 18, 1941 to Robert and Ruth Lawson, she moved to Richmond, CA in 1945, where she grew up. She attended Harry Ells High School and graduated from Armstrong Business College in Berkeley.

Bobbi’s compassion for others and heart for service suited her well in her life’s vocations. She ran a

daycare while her children were growing up, worked in the insurance business with Berger and Jones in

Lafayette for many years, and was a loving and tender caregiver for the elderly and for her own parents

in their final years. Bobbi regularly donated blood and platelets, giving the gift of life to people she

would never meet. She was a member of Church of the Valley in San Ramon, where she served capably

on various committees, played bells and sang in the choir. In 2013, she moved to Texas to be near her

daughter, son-in-law and her granddaughter, Bella, whom she adored.

Bobbi is survived by her loving daughter, Shelley Fore (Dan), her beloved granddaughter, Bella Fore, her

brother Ron Lawson (Debbi) and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She joins in eternity

her parents and her precious son, Randy, who left us in 1986.

A memorial service will be held this summer in California.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations (by clicking the links below) in memory of Bobbi be sent to:

Bobbi loved her Lord and loved life. We will miss her positive and encouraging spirit and her beautiful

smile…until we meet again.
