Graveside Service will be held at Bluebonnet Colleyville, TX at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Royce was born February 16, 1930 in Hutchinson, Kansas to John C. Pitts and Leatha Mae Pitts. He served in the USAF for 20 years and upon retiring, worked as an electronic Technician for RCA and Motorola. He was a resident of the HEB area for the last 54 years and prior to that 15 years in Roswell, NM where he met and married the love of his life Glida Pearl. He was a member of First Baptist Church Euless where he was active in all phases of the Sunday School as well as a Deacon. He participated in many mission trips helping in the building of churches.
He was preceeded in death by his Mother and Father John and Leatha Pitts, three brothers, Melvin, Willis and Dale Pitts, two sisters, Twyla Sell and Retta Mae Ploughe. He is survived by his wife Glida, four sons, Douglas and wife Jerriann, Michael and wife Beth, Richard and wife Colleen, David Pitts, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
