Oh dear Sandy, how I will miss you! You were also one of my first friends at Church on the Way, Van Nuys, CA. Though it has been over 25 years since we lived close to one another, our friendship never waned. Your ready smile, bubbly laughter, generous heart, tenancity in friendship, and life that pointed others to the Giver of Life...will be missed and treasured by anyone who knew you. My heart breaks that I could not get to Texas again to see you before you left this world, but I know we will spend eternity together when my time here is over. My prayers for your family and friends abound as the big space you occupied in each one's heart is now empty. May the peace of God and His comfort walk with each one through your grieving process.

Several years ago, Sandy was a part of one of the deliverance teams that ministered over me during the course of 12 weeks so that I could experience the freedom that Jesus died to provide for me.... I am grateful to her for her servant's heart!  I know she is enjoying the ultimate freedom now....  Enjoy Sandy!  smiles

Sandy was my first friend at church on the way Van Nuys. What can you say about someone who moves to Texas over 20 yrs ago and still remains a close friend. My mom and step-dad adored her also. I will miss her heart and humor. Her faith was a testimony I will never forget. Sweet Girl.. looking forward to our reunion in Heaven...

The joy and warmth Sandy brought to the people she came into contact with showed us just a small glimpse of the person she was.  While Sandy has left us in this world, her spirit and memories will live on with those of us who were fortunate enough to know her.  I'll miss you dear Sandy.

Sandy and I met by phone as I was the National Math Science Administrator for my high school in Macon, Georgia. I can still hear her voice whenever I think of her. I know it is hard to believe that one can feel a deep sadness and loss from such distant connection, but for the three years that we worked together, she was always sweet and helpful. I cannot tell you how shocked I was when I reached out to her yesterday only to receive a call telling me she had passed away. 
One thing I know, I will meet Sandy one day because we share the same faith. What a joy it will be to give this precious woman a hug.

Sandy will be deeply missed by her NMSI family. She made all of us feel welcome and special every single  time we spoke or met.  Her friends in Alabama are grieving deeply - as are others across the country. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends in Texas.

It is very difficult to summarize in a few words what Sandy meant to me personally and professionally. She expressed to me often how much she enjoyed working with the NMSI program schools, their teachers, administrators, and community supporters. She knew that it was about the kids and I can recall her on many occasions reminding me of that as we worked together. A true professional and friend, always asking about my health and family before work; a breath of fresh air on hectic days, steering me in the right direction- I could go on and on. To her family, my prayers are with you at this time. She was a wonderful woman who I will sorely miss. God bless her! Dale

Words cannot express the sadness we feel about Sandy's untimely passing.  The prayers of all at AP-TIP IN are with you during this most difficult time. Please know Sandy will be remembered for her joy and kindness.

Even though I only saw Sandy twice, I feel like she was one of my best friends. Our communication through NMSI made her such an important person in my life, and she will be greatly missed. She was always our "go to girl" for questions and information. To her family, I am sure you are so proud of this amazing woman! She was truly a blessing and words cannot adequately express how incredibly wonderful she was! May God comfort your during this time.

Sandy was a beautiful lady. I so enjoyed prayer times with her when she led a prayer group for this nation. Her heart was full of love for God and people and desired to see His Kingdom here on earth. Now she sees it in its fullness in Heaven.

"Some people come into your life and quickly disappear; others come into your life leaving footprints on your heart  and you are never the same. What a "footprint" Sandy has left on my heart. She was an absolutely incredible woman and will  be missed.
