Sandy was born in Pennsylvania on March 2, 1941. She graduated from the University of Delaware. Sandy and Jake lived all over the world together, from Brazil to China to Belgium. In addition to traveling, Sandy loved to ski, devoured books, and could figure out how to fix just about anything. She had an unforgettably sweet reading and singing voice. In 1998, the Kancavicuses moved to Grapevine. Sandy was an active member of the Grapevine Garden Club and the Senior Activities Center. She adored being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her favorite color was red, so you are invited to wear something red to her services.
